Huadu Nuclear formally signed a CRDM contract of over 1 billion CNY for "Hualong One"
A few days ago, China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute/Chengdu Nuclear Power Research and Design Engineering Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Huadu Nuclear Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. formally signed the "Fujian Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Project Unit 3 and Unit 4 (Hualong One) Control Four procurement contracts, including the Supply Contract for Rod Drive Mechanism (CRDM) Equipment" and "Contract for Supply of Control Rod Drive Mechanism (CRDM) Equipment for Units 5 and 6 of Zhejiang Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant (Hualong No. 1), with a total amount of CNY 1.0259 billion.
The CRDM equipment signed this time will be used in the "Hualong One" 10000-KW nuclear power unit built in batches by China National Nuclear Corporation. "Hualong One" is the third-generation pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology developed by my country with the world's highest safety requirements and the latest technical standards. It has complete independent intellectual property rights and is a third-generation nuclear power model that can be exported independently. China National Nuclear Corporation places high hopes on it. A nuclear power technology brand strongly built by the state. The performance indicators of the ML-C control rod drive mechanism purchased under this contract are internationally leading.
